How do I solve Sudoku?

Fill every empty square with a number from 1 to 9. Each row, column and outlined 3 × 3 box must contain every number exactly once.

Does every puzzle have one solution?

Yes. The generator checks uniqueness every time it removes a number. Show solution reveals the completed grid.

What changes with difficulty?

Easy starts with 45 given numbers, Medium with 36, and Hard aims for 28. Hard may keep extra clues to preserve one solution. These levels describe clue counts, rather than a formal rating of solving techniques.
